Here’s a snack that I like to make sometimes for breakfast or even when I’m in the mood for a quick munch. It’s super easy and super simple as there are only a few ingredients. Plus, it’s healthy!
Greek Yogurt with Wildflower Honey and Fresh Fruits
⅓ cup Greek yogurt (I used Chobani)
⅓ cup sweetened or unsweetened applesauce
1 banana, sliced
5 large strawberries, sliced
wildflower honey or any sweetener of your choice (not shown)
1. Mix the Greek yogurt and applesauce together until blended.
2. Add the sliced banana and strawberries into the yogurt mixture.
3. Drizzle with the wildflower honey to taste on top for garnish and also as a sweetener.
Feel free to use any fruits of your choice! I’ve used blackberries, blueberries, kiwis, cranberries, dried apricots and etc. before. There will always be slightly more yogurt/applesauce than the fruits because I love my fruit drenched! You can always use more fruit, less yogurt and/or less applesauce. I like using honey instead of sugar for the smoothness and also for the taste. You can use any type of sweetener you like, or not at all.
