I love Foodie Penpal reveal days! It’s always fun to see all the different types of foods and food related items other people receive.
Not to mention, I have the *BEST* luck when it comes to my wonderful Foodie Penpals assigned to me!
This month, I received a great package from Denise in Florida. She put together a cute Florida theme box full of goodies.
Thanks so much for being my Foodie Penpal this month Denise! ^_^
Clockwise, left to right:
~ King’s Florida Orange Blossom Honey. I’ve been using this to sweeten my green tea and it gives my cup of tea a burst of citrus flavor. Love this!
~ Hise Farms Hydroponic Produce Strawberry Jam. Wow. This local jam is unbelievably tasty! I’ve already used it for sandwiches and some Thumbprint Butter Cookies. I’m going to be sad when I run out. >_<
~ SunBiotics Organic Gourmet Probiotic Snack: Cheesy Almonds. I took these along as a snack for class one day and finished it in one sitting. (I think the bag was 2-3 servings?) The cheese tasted a bit of cheese powder, but I didn’t mind.
~ Artisana 100% Organic Raw Cacao Bliss. I spread this on a sandwich for lunch one day. It had that bittersweet chocolate taste that I love.
~ Go Raw 100% Organic Chocolate Super Cookies. This was the second thing that I opened from the package. I also brought these to class as a snack…and couldn’t stop munching on them! I limited myself on these though and it took me about a week to finish the bag. I need to find these again!!
~ Stash Premium Green Tea Sampler. I drink green tea daily and sometimes even several times a day. This sampler has nine different flavors for me to try out! Such a great idea!
~ Artisana Raw Superfood Organic Blue Algae Nut Butter. This was a weird one. I eat seafood and have had algae/seaweed in sushi or soups, but never as a nut butter. When I tried this one, the nut butter came out blue green! But had a smooth consistency. It has a strong algae flavor so you may not like the taste if you aren’t use to it.
~ Local Dried Pineapple Rings. This was the first thing that I ripped into. What a bad idea. I couldn’t stop! I had wanted to use these in some cookies or pastries, but ended up eating all of them out of the bag instead. I loved it!
