The following day, I woke up decently early to go shopping. I wanted to stop specifically at Madewell for jeans since there isn’t one located in Utah and also wanted to browse through Sephora. It made it easy for my friend Ena to meet up with me at Westfield San Francisco Centre.
(For those interested, I did end up picking up a few pair of jeans that FIT ME!!! Those that know me personally know how difficult it is for me to find a pair of good fitting jeans…)
Since we were already there, we decided to grab a quick lunch at Ajisen Ramen, a ramen chain originating from Japan.
We arrived before the tapioca was ready so I ordered a Honey Aloe Green Tea without the tapioca. This was surprisingly delicious and refreshing.
Ena and I both ordered a bowl of the Ajisen Best Combo Ramen, tender pork ribs, premium pork, and BBQ pork. The best pork out of the three was the premium pork. The tender pork ribs and the BBQ pork were both too dry. The noodles were better than 10¢ ramen, but not better than Monta. Maybe more on par with Anime Ramen.
Ajisen Ramen is a decent fast food ramen chain restaurant. The portions were filling and I would totally go back just to try out the rest of their drinks and order a drink to go. There was also an incident with a homeless person that I believe the manager handled very well.
If you’re in the area looking for some ramen, give Ajisen Ramen a try!
