Continuing with my San Francisco trip, my friends and I tried Ella’s for breakfast the next day. Ella’s was highly recommended to me by my friend Yvo of Feisty Foodie so I was eager to stop by.
I ordered a cup of Mocha along with Ella’s Plate, two eggs, choice of house made country sausage or Niman Ranch bacon (I asked for both), two special pancakes, chicken hash, and potatoes. The mocha was disappointingly not as tasty as the cup of mocha I had at Toast Eatery. The buttermilk pancakes were buttery soft and came with a side of butter, some syrup, and the most incredible strawberry jam. I also enjoyed my sunny side ups along with the house made country sausage and Niman Ranch bacon.
Ella’s serves breakfast, brunch, and lunch. While I may not come back for breakfast again, I am interested in trying out Ella’s lunch menu.
