My friends and I planned a Stephen Chow movie night at my place and what better to go with a Stephen Chow than Chinese take out!
I’ve eyed this restaurant for quite some time now so I was happy to stop by and grab some take out. My friend and I went all out ordering food since we were feeding 4 1/2 people.
For appetizers, some Fried Shrimp and Pot Stickers. I don’t remember much about the Fried Shrimp and the Pot Stickers had skin on the thicker side.
My friend’s choice of a spicy eggplant dish. I didn’t try it, but she enjoyed it.
My choice of Honey Walnut Shrimpl. I absolutely loved this one! The menu said it was spicy, but it wasn’t spicy at all for me. It was also on the sweeter side. I almost didn’t want to share this one!
A generic Beef and Broccoli which I used to gauge the restaurant. It was also a dish that I knew Lucas would definitely eat. It was a bit on the salty side, but the beef was tender and the broccoli had a slight crunch to it instead of being completely limp.
Mr. Munchimunch’s choice of Ham Fried Rice. I never order fried rice from a restaurant, because the rice being used is probably leftover rice from the day before. I didn’t try this, but Mr. Munchimunch ate half of this.
I can’t remember what this dish was, but I believe this was another spicy dish that I did not try. There were leftovers for this one so I guess the other dishes were better.
Ordering take out didn’t take too long, but I feel like the dishes were on the pricier side. We had plenty of food for 4 1/2 people with leftovers. Out of everything ordered, I’d have to say the Honey Walnut Shrimp was the best. I’ll definitely be revisiting Red Corner China Diner to try out a few other dishes. I totally recommend visiting for their Honey Walnut Shrimp, and if you’re allergic to seafood, they also have Honey Walnut Chicken!
