The following morning of our Babymoon, Mr. Munchimunch and I relished the chance to sleep in. We woke up ravenously hungry though. Searching for a nearby place, we decided to walk across the street to Tropicana’s Beach Café.
We chose to sit inside as it was still a bit chilly for the morning and were seated immediately.
Since it was bordering on lunchtime, Mr. Munchimunch ordered the Buffalo Burger, an 8 ounce angus burger, bleu cheese slaw, red hot marinated crispy fried onions with a side of fries. The burger was a bit messy, but so large that he couldn’t quite finish the whole thing.
I was craving something fresh and light so ordered the Farmer’s Market Fruit and Berries. This actually came with carrot raisin bread, but I substituted for whole wheat toast instead. This was exactly what I needed.
We normally eat at places off the strip, but Tropicana’s Beach Café wasn’t a bad choice. It was reasonably priced (for a hotel restaurant), within walking distance, and had great service. I wouldn’t mind going back, if so inclined, to try out some of the other items on their menu.
Have you visited Tropicana’s Beach Café before? What did you think and what would you recommend?
