Last month, Mr. Munchimunch and I decided to take a weekend trip for our babymoon.
What is a “babymoon”, you ask? It’s a trip that soon to be parents take to relax prior to the arrival of their newborn baby. Especially since things and life will be particularly busy afterwards and future trips with a newborn are rare. I discovered this term while looking for pregnant friendly destinations.
We finally decided on Vegas due to its closeness and having some free hotel night stays. (I survived with only two bathroom breaks for a 6 hour drive!)
After checking into the hotel and taking a much needed short nap, we headed out to find some dinner. It was a toss up between barbeque and Japanese and we ended up choosing barbeque.
Mr. Munchimunch ordered the Duo Choice of 2 Meats, brisket and pulled pork, with a side of onion strings. He enjoyed the brisket just a bit more than the pulled pork, but had no complaints about either!
I was tempted to order the All You Can Eat for $24.99, but couldn’t justify the order as I wasn’t hungry enough. Instead, I ordered the 1/2 Slab Babys (6 bones) with a side of corn nuggets. The ribs were good, but not Big Ed’s good. The corn nuggets were exactly what I wanted! I couldn’t finish everything so saved the leftovers for our night in at the hotel while we watched a movie. =)
Rollin Smoke Barbeque hit the spot for us. We wanted to relax and have some comfort food and Rollin Smoke Barbeque offered exactly that. If you’re in Vegas and you’ll looking for some decent barbeque, stop on by!
