There are actually several Iggy’s locations throughout Utah, but we were at the Odgen location since we were in the area with some friends. On the drive up, the sky was clear. Halfway there, the sky started pouring snow! By the time we left to go eat, there was more than a foot of snow on the ground! Crazy.
Luckily, spring is around the corner and we’ve been getting lots of sunshine now instead of snow. I’m happy.
An order of Grape Lime Rickey. I’ve actually never had one before moving to Utah and it’s a great mix between grape, lemon, and lime, with that extra lime on top. It reminds me of summer.
To start off, bread with Iggy’s famous spicy dipping sauce. Luckily, the sauce was more sweet than spicy so I also had the chance to enjoy it. The bread was incredibly soft.
The little ones. Whenever they eat out together, they always order the same dish!
The little ones’ Quesadilla meals which came with a drink.
I ordered the Western, Iggy’s Big Burger with cheddar cheese, bacon, and BBQ sauce. This burger was huge! The meat was juicy and the bun lightly toasted. I’m not sure if it was because we were the only ones at the restaurant or if I was extremely hungry, but this burger was delicious!
Mr. Munchimunch ordered the Manhattan, Iggy’s Big Burger with pastrami, Swiss cheese, and Iggy’s sauce. I had a small bite and while it was alright, it wouldn’t be something that I would order myself.
And lastly, the free sundae that came with our meal! Since it was already cold outside, I didn’t eat this, but instead, let the little ones dig in.
I’m not sure if it was just an fortuitous moment, as I’ve been to Iggy’s before at Jordan Landing and was not impressed, but this visit was much better. It might have been the location, the lack of other customers, and/or the company. Whatever it was, go give Iggy’s a try!
